Joseph R. Nowak, 85, of Manchester the husband of Mary R. (Sander) Nowak died Friday (March 12, 2010) at his home. He was a US Air Force veteran of World War II and had retired from Hamilton Standard after 35 years of service. Besides his wife he is survived by his children Debra Bishop and her husband David, Kim Ross, Joseph Nowak and his wife Pam, Theresa Waitt and her husband John, Robin Amsden, Stanley Nowak and his wife Michelle, and Steven Nowak; his grandchildren Richard Ross, Jared and Haley Bishop, Jacob Nowak, Joshua and Connor Waitt, Ashley-Rose and Derek Amsden, and Sabrina and Jozlyn Nowak, and his great-grandchildren Taylor and Jacelyn Ross. He was predeceased by his grandson Joey Ross. Funeral service will be held on Thursday (March 18th) at 10:15 am from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am at the Church of the Assumption 27 Adams St. South, Manchester. Burial will be private.
