To Bill's family: My wife, Becky, and I both worked with Bill. Bill was never your typical corporate employee and that is what I loved about him. He inspired people by doing what he thought was the right thing to do. He seemed most happy when helping others rather than worry about what was in it for him. Bill was always true to himself, I admired that about him, and he has had a lasting impact on me for that. He will be greatly missed by all his friends.

To Bill's family I am very sorry for your loss. I worked for Bill as a supervisor at The Hartford for many years. He taught me many things as a mentor and a friend. When I was the night manager Bill would always come by on his way out each night and sit down in the chair and ask me," everything ok before I leave, call me at the Magic store if you need me. He was always there for us whether he was in work or not. I will truly miss Bill he was one of those special people that you have the joy to have known.

Bill & I started our jobs at The Hartford in Feb/1984. He set next to me during our training and I had the pleasure to work for him later on when he became a manager. He shared his pictures of his family (especially when his children were born), he was so proud of his family. He was a great friend to me, funny (he made me laugh so much) & a mantor, I will miss him very much. He made a differance in so many peoples lives. I am so sorry for your loss.

Bill hired me at The Hartford in Sept 1985. He said years later it was because I showed up to the interview during Hurricane Gloria. His theroy was if I could handle a hurricane, I just might be successful at HIG! Bill was a great guy, a true friend to many. To his family, my deepest sympathies at his passing and sincere thanks for sharing him with all of us who had the pleasure to work with and learn from this special guy.
