I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I never met Bill in person, but we spoke on the phone for about eight years discussing payables owed to the Courant, but always got around to talking about our children. It was always a pleasure to speak with him and his bright and positive attitude.

Dear Jesse and your precious family, Over the course of the Nutcracker performance we had many talks about the kids etc, and preparing Caelin and Paige in their outfits. Honestly, you were amazing with all 4 of your children and you were such a great person to talk to. You spoke several times of your family, Including your husband. I can specifically recall you talking about the road race and that although you weren't able to run, he stil brought you home a souviner..sweatshrt It seems the love you have for eachother shines through your beautiful children. I hope you can enjoy seeing your husband through their eyes and capture the memories you've made togther. Jennifer and Paige Tyrrell.

To the family and friends of "Billy" Calhoun My wife and I were saddened to learn of the passing of Billy. Billy was a contemporary and good friend of our son Scott. Many years ago Billy was a member of my Cub Scout den. I always thought of them as my "Den of Devils". High energy, smart, tireless and high maintenance. Billy was the group comedian. Recently my wife and I ran into Billy shopping at Highland Park with his beautiful daughters. They clearly have inherited Billy's high energy level. We would like to offer our condolences to his wife, children and family. We will miss him. Ed and Carole Cheney

Bill & Simone, Our heartful condolences to you both, and the rest of your family. We understand the heartbreak you are feeling, as we lost our oldest son, David Jr, almost 4 yrs. ago. We have felt like there is a hole in our heart since then. Somehow our friends, and with the faith in God we are able to get through each day. Keep your faith. You are all in our prayers every day. This is the worst thing that parents can go through, as we don't expect our children to go before us. Remember that you all need to lean on each other now, and remember all the beautiful memories of Bill Jr, I would love to hear from you when things quiet down. Peace and love to you.

Deeply sadden by the loss of such a great guy. Great guy with a huge and loving heart. To the family, thou I have never met you guys, Bill always spoke of you and I kind of got to know you a little through him. There are no words that can fully express what a loss Bill is to this world. I have had the honor of sitting a few feet away from Bill the past few years at the Courant. He was the most compassionate and caring person I have ever met. I could not help but overhear the many conversations he had with people on the phone or stopping by to visit him. There was no issue that was beyond his job description (at work & personal life). He treated everyone like they were his best friend and truly took delight in helping people. Feelings for his family ran even deeper. One of my many telling memories about Bill was day last July when we went to see his beloved Sox beat the Mariners at Fenway. I started to rib him about having so many kids and how jealous he must be of my unfettered life. Without pause, he responded how proud he was of being a new father again and that he would not trade the family life for anything. Jessi and kids you can be assured that he loved you all dearly. Stay strong like Bill’s spirit.
