Sheila Moran, 52, died on Monday, November 2, 2009, at her home surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with cancer. Sheila had lived in Manchester for many years and was the daughter of the late John "Jack" and Katherine (Nevins) Moran. She was a 1975 graduate of East Catholic High School and a 1979 graduate of the University of Connecticut. She had been employed with the Department of Social Services, State of CT for twenty-eight years. Sheila enjoyed spending time with her family, especially with her nieces and nephews, whether it was at the beach, at basketball or baseball games, notably at Red Sox or UCONN games. Sheila is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Nancy and Robert Lee of NH and their family Robert John, Ryan, Ronan and Ryder Lee and her brother and sister-in-law Brian and Meg Moran of South Windsor and their daughters Lauren and Kelly Moran and her aunt Patricia Walsh of CO, numerous friends and cousins and her dog Shannon.
