Winifred F. (Lennon) Henderson, 88, of Manchester the wife of the late James Patrick Henderson died Sunday, October 4, 2009 at Crestfield Rehabilitation Center, Manchester. Born in Manchester, she was the daughter of the late James and Winifred Lennon. She was a longtime member of South United Methodist Church in Manchester and had retired from Pratt & Whitney Aircraft after 29 years of service. She is survived by her daughters and their husbands, Jean P. and Ronald G. Rickert of Manchester, Carol A. and Victor Chavis, Jr. of Bristol, and Mary W. and Ronald L. Chasse of Manchester, 7 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Marion Webster of Manchester and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her husband she was predeceased by her grandson Victor Chavis III, and her great-grandson Anthony Miller. A memorial service will be held on Friday (October 9th) at 11 am at South United Methodist Church 1226 Main St. Manchester. The John F. Tierney Funeral Home, Manchester has care of the arrangements.
