To the family of Winifred My thoughts and prayers are with yall during this time. She was a wonderful lady, I worked with Colleen Lamb & became friends & got to meet "Gram" as I knew her at Colleen house & went with Colleen to Gram apt. She always made me feel part of the family gathering. After 911 she crochet red, white & blue Freedom bells. I was honor to receive a set and I have them hanging to this day in my car. She will never be forgotten. I know she was loved & will be greatly missed by her family. We'll see her again one day in Heaven. May God be with yall. Love, Cyndi Clemmons Friendswood, Tx

I had the pleasure of meeting Grandma Henderson after my son, Tommy married her Granddaughter, Carol. I loved her from the beginning. I found a very strong, independent, caring woman. Conversations with her were fantastic and always interesting. She was a very intelligent woman, a very friendly woman who really cared about her family, her friends and who she was talking to. She made you feel at ease and the fact that she cared about you came across so clear. I couldn't wait to see her again and talk to her again. My deepest sympathy goes to my daughter in law, Carol, who loved her Grandma so very much, to my son and granddaugher, to all of Grandma Henderson's family, "extended" family and friends. Grandma Henderson had a zest for life that very few people have. She will be missed by many, especially me.

Nothing Gold Can Stay Nature's first green is gold, Her hardest hue to hold. Her early leaf's a flower; But only so an hour. Then leaf subsides to leaf. So Eden sank to grief, So dawn goes down to day. Nothing gold can stay. - Robert Frost Beautiful Eternal Golden Memories of our beloved Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Love and thoughts to all other family and to Gram's friends, Carol, Megan, and Thomas Filecco

Winnie was a bright spot in my week for quite some years. She transitioned from a patient in to a friend. I would ask her for advice on how to raise my girls, being that she has 3 of her own, that turned out to be such dedicated, loving daughters. She was a strong woman, mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother. I enjoyed hearing about, and meeting so many members of her family. I have missed her, thought about her, and have included her in my prayers over the past few months. You had the best, and I am sorry that you have lost her, but her spirit will be forever with you. So I will begin to feed squirrels, planters peanuts, and I will think about Winnie. With joyful memories, Kari Schmidt
