Obituary of Crystal H. Halsted

To the beloved soulmate and son of Eugene F. Halsted Jr., there are some things in life that can not be described by words, such is the case in trying to tell your story. On January 18th, 2018, our little boy Eugene Frederick Halsted III was born, but he did not make it into our world. Our "little fox" knew only love, joy, and happiness. He never knew pain, sadness or anger. The very next morning, his mommy went to join him in Heaven, as all little boys need their mommy. Crystals soul was genuine, caring and loving. She loved nature, and everything about the earth, from the mountains to the ocean. She loved music, and always searched for adventure. To her, family and friends were everything. Her loved transcended this world, and filled everyone she met with immense joy and happiness. Crystal was a fighter, something she did until the end, after all she did have a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Crystal could do anything she put her mind to. She could teach herself to do anything. After graduating Rockville High in 2008, she went on to become a licensed financial advisor. Completing a 4 year program in under a year. Crystals search for her other half ended for good the day she married me, Eugene F. Halsted, Jr. on September 9, 2016, a truly blessed day. Four months later we bought a house and turned that into a home and in that home, built a nursery together fit for a king. Crystal and Eugene III's love remains with their father and grandfather Kevin Hayes, her mother and father, Grandma and Grandpa Sherry and Jim Griffin; her brother and sister Uncle Josh and Auntie Alesha. On the Halsted side their names live on with her father and mother, Papa Gene Halsted, Sr. and Grandmother Susan Guitard Halsted, her sisters Aunt Aimee and Aunt Amanda and her brother Uncle Damien and countless best friends, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Her heart always remains with her beloved husband. Crystal and Eugene III would want everyone to know how precious life is, hug your loved ones, do an act of kindness in their name, let their love grow. To my beautiful wife and my precious little boy, I will miss you more than I can ever say, but I know you will be with me for the rest of my days. I will take comfort knowing my little boy is with his mommy. I promise you both my life's mission will be to share your story with the world. Sleep well my loves, you have planted a seed of love, now we let love grow. Always and forever, My Love. Family and friends may call at the John F.
