Obituary of Angeline Zanlungo

Angeline Marie (Cherubini) Zanlungo, 86, of Manchester, the wife of 49 years to the late Cletto Lucien Zanlungo died Tuesday September 15, 2009 at Fenwood Manor. Born September 17, 1922 in Manchester, she was the daughter of the late Matteo and Anna Cherubini. She was a graduate of Manchester High School, was employed by Colt Firearms, the Cheney Mills, owned and operated Ann Spots Restaurant with her husband and worked at Fairway Department Store until her retirement. Besides her husband she was predeceased by her brothers Tony and Lucien Cherubini. She was the loving mother of four children Charles Zanlungo and his wife Gail of Manchester, Robert Zanlungo and his wife Kathryn of Ashford, Paul Zanlungo and his wife Lynn of Ashford and Ann (Zanlungo) Stevenson and her husband Michael of Manchester; eight grandchildren Jennifer, Jill, Bob, Amber, Amy, Alyssa, Nicholas and Matthew; and four great-grandchildren Olivia, Kevin, Hannah and Paul. Angeline's family would like to offer a special thanks to her nurses and caregivers at Fenwood Manor. Funeral service will be held on Saturday (September 19th) at 9:15 am from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center ST. Manchester with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 am at St. James Church 896 Main St. Manchester followed by burial in St. James Cemetery, Manchester. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday evening from 5-8. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association PO Box 2680 North Canton, OH 44720.
