Dear Leslie: You may not remember me, but we went to Penney High School together, I grew up on Timber Trail and I think you were a year behind me in school. Anyway, my husband and I have followed the career of your husband and have enjoyed seeing pictures of you and your family in the paper periodically. I was very sorry to read of the death of your father. I lost my beloved father just last year and I know, believe me, I know how hard it is, despite how much support one has. Please know that you and your family are in our prayers and know that the memories of your father will remain strong and bright forever. Lynne Huntington-Sweeney

We are deeply saddened at the news of the passing of Uncle Normand. The Best family was a huge part of the best memories of our childhood--at Long Lake, Lake Winnepausakee, and Loon Mtn. He was a great friend to our parents, and especially to our mother, who knew him longer than any other person in her life. His departure truly marks the end of an era. RIP
