I am very sorry to hear of Barbara's untimely death. Barbara and I worked together at Robinson & Cole from April 1999, until my retirement in 2002. She was a good worker and fun to be around. We were usually laughing when we weren't collecting dollars for the firm. We could always count on BJ for a good day's work. She was very well liked by her coworkers as she always had a smile on her face. She will be missed by all. Dick

Hi, My name is Paul Thompson. Barbara and I worked in the same building together for a little over 2 years. I work for a vendor that is involved with Robinson & Cole on a day to day basis. Barbara was always extremely helpful when we had billing issues or questions, and we developed a great relationship. As time went on, we became great friends as well. I would always enjoy talking with her and we could go on forever. She was a big sports fan and I actually got to see the Cowboys play in Dallas last year. I remember when I told her I was actually going to go down there and our weekly conversations about Sunday's games. This past spring we talked about the Celtics nonstop during the playoffs. The biggest thing that I admired about Barbara, was her spirit. She always seemed in a great mood. Smiling, cracking jokes. She was great to be around. Even when she seemed not as upbeat, she had this aura about her where she wouldn't sweat the small things. I actually remember her telling me one day joking around when I first saw her Star Wars collectibles at her desk, that if she were to get upset she can just play with them for a bit to keep her cool. She was always positive. I will deeply miss Barbara, and I am sorry for your family's loss. Thank you.

To Barbara's family, My deepest condolences to all of you. I had the pleasure of meeting Barbara when my son Brendon worked at Stop and Shop....He left when he went off to college. She was always happy to see me and Brendon, asking how he was doing and giving advice when he was going through rough times that first year and a half of college. She spoke so highly of her nieces and nephews...you could tell she loved them so much. The reading of her obiturary today came as a total shock, as I did not realize that she was ill....I am so sorry for your loss. You have truely lost a wonderful, gentle soul. May your memories help you through this most difficult time. I will miss her smile and her sincerity.

Barbara "BJ" symbolized the warmth and closeness of the Bailey family. I knew her as a youngster; full of life and always with a smile. All of you have my deepest sympathy.
