Edwina (Billings) Holmes, 83, of East Hartford, CT the wife of the late Robert W. Holmes, Sr. died Monday May 4, 2009 at her home. Born in St. Albans, VT she had lived in East Hartford for many years. She is survived by her children Susan Piette, Kenneth Constantine and Michael Constantine and his wife Bettyjo, and her step-children Robert Holmes, Jr. and his wife Lynne, Ronald Holmes and his wife Wilma, Sally Munroe and her husband Ralph, Charles Holmes and David Holmes. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday (May 9th) at 11:15 am at the Church of the Assumption 27 Adams Street South, Manchester, CT. The John F. Tierney Funeral Home, Manchester is in charge of the arrangements.
