Obituary of Margaret Trask

Margaret (Greene) Trask, of Manchester, beloved wife of Donald passed away peacefully at Manchester Memorial Hospital on Tuesday April 14th from complications of Alzheimer's, she was 95 years old. Margaret was born in County Armach, Ireland. Except for several years in Vernon, she lived most of her life in Manchester. She was a member of St. James and later the Church of the Assumption in Manchester. She retired from Pratt & Whitney Aircraft after 32 years as a secretary. She was a former member of the Manchester Square Dance Club and the Glastonbury Irish-American Club. Besides her husband Donald, she is survived by her sister-in-law Jeanne Greene, nephew John Greene and his wife Martha all of Manchester, her nephew Wayne Tedford and his wife Tommie, their children Johnathan and Joanna of Bruceton, TN. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Leona Trask and niece Judith Trask of Bend, Oregon, her nephew Thomas Trask and his wife Elaine of Kensington, their children Sara Florio and her husband Michael of Bedford Hills, NY and Ryan Trask of Kensington. Margaret was predeceased by her brother John Greene. The family wishes to thank the staffs at Manchester Memorial Hospital, North Central Hospice and Manchester Manor who have all been so attentive during Margaret's illness. Calling hours will be at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center Street Manchester on Friday April 17th from 9:30-10:30 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 11 am at the Church of the Assumption Adams Street South, Manchester.
