And memories of her and Uncle Bob, dad...George...and Mom bring a big smile to my face. Thinking of all of you & days gone by... Our love, Cory "Mullowney", Brian, Patrick & Meagan Stone

Tammy, Robyn, Leslie, Skip, Sandy & Cheryl,
I am deeply sorry for your loss.
Thoughts of your mom conjure two images in my mind. The first is of a wonderfully strong woman whose priority was her family, and who loved you, her children & grandchildren fiercely. The second is of a fiery little character who loved a good time and a great laugh. From Laurel Beach to St. Bonaventure, good times were made better & certainly more memorable because of Aunt Loy!
I pray that Aunt Loy is now comforted, at peace, and safely back in the arms of your father, her beloved "Bob".
Much love to you all, Beth

Skip, Sandy, Cheryl, Leslie, Tammy and Rob,
So my buddy got tired and went to be with Uncle Bob. Can't say I blame her. Your mother was a tremendous force of life, light, love and laughter. She backed me even as a child and went out of her way to show me that she loved me. A true gift from a woman's whose grit could at once feel like a slap then a kiss! You know what I mean, y'all!
I loved you Aunt Loy and will see you off. I hope you have peace and love and laughter with all of the other Murphy's that we have lost. I hope we meet again one day. I truly truly do.
Love,
Christopher

Sandy, Cheryl, Skip, Leslie, Tammy, and Robyn, The world today is a lesser place without your mom in it!!! I have so many great memories as a kid growing up with Aunt Loy. Your mom was joyous, warm, loving and truly one of God's great characters!! I can say many things but perhaps the best is that she had a life well lived. We will all miss her. Our loss is God's gain. I will see you at the funeral on Thursday. Love, Garrie

Sandy, Skip, Cheryl, Leslie, Tammy, and Robyn-- Please accept our deepest condolences on the loss of your mother. Aunt Loy's humor and laughter was infections, and as I think back on the intersections of my life with hers, I invariably remember laughter, laughter, and more laughter. One summer, Aunt Loy and Chris inexplicably decided to play with snails at Long Island Sound, while I remained afraid even to put my toe in that then contaminated water. When they both contracted snail rashes, I knew I was right to stay away. Another time, on a beautiful day, Aunt Loy and I sat together on Laurel Beach, watching children playing in the ocean. We watched for some time, giggling at, well, children playing on a picture-perfect day. I turned to Aunt Loy and said, "You love children, don't you?" She deadpanned, "No." And we laughed uproariously. Of course she did love us all, and I loved her. Sean

My most beloved King cousins; I adored your mother, my Aunt Loy... She played a lead role in those perfect years, the years of endless summers at Gram and Gramps beachouse and then Laurel Beach. They say that the laughter of children warms a grownups heart, but I remember our parents continuous laughter warming mine, making me feel safe and happy, that all was good with the world, enabling us cousins to have the carefree time of our lives. I've since learned that making life feel safe and happy for a child is quite the challenge, but it is what grownups' are supposed to do and nobody did it better or more effortlessly than my aunt Loy. Skip and the girls, I cherish those perfect summers and will always remember those times as the best of my life, but I cherish your mother, my aunt Loy, more... With Sympathy and Love, Your Cousin, Timmy
