I was quite sad to read that Betty had died. I first met her when I was the coordinator of the Martin School Library volunteers. Whenever I called on Betty to read she never refused and continued to volunteer even after her grandchildren had moved on to middle school. I lost touch with Betty when I no longer volunteered, but a few years later I began a new relationship with her while working part-time at the Hallmark store at the Manchester Parkade. It was then I learned of her health issues with cancer. Whenever she visited the store she always greeted me warmly and would update me on her grandchildren. I will always remember what a lovely, caring woman she was. My thoughts and prayers are with her & her beloved family. Pat Lapworth

I met Mrs. Viara in library of Martin School where my daughter, Mandy, and her grandson, Ben, were students and we were volunteers. We continued our friendship and mutual love of books at the Mary Cheney Library where she was one of my favorite patrons. I will miss talking to her...she was a lovely lady.
