Joseph A. Sellitto Sr, 92 of Bradenton, Florida beloved husband of Norma (Orfitelli) Sellitto passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2009. Born in Hartford on 11-29-1916 he resided in East Hartford, CT for many years before retiring and moving to Florida with his beloved wife, Norma. He was employed at Republic Steel in East Hartford as a foreman in for 45 Years. Besides his wife of 70 years he is survived by a daughter, Gayle Sellitto of Manchester and two sons, Joseph Sellitto, Jr. and wife Cindy of Cheshire, Gary Sellitto and wife Laurie of Bradenton, Florida. He was predeceased by a daughter Elayne Nadler formerly of Manchester. He also leaves several grandchildren Jennifer D'Agostino and husband, Chris, Todd Sellitto, Allison Sellitto, Kimberly Perez and husband, Dan, Lyndsey Sellitto, Bonnie Nadler, Robert Nadler Sr. and wife, Georgia, Laurie Denorio and husband Larry, Great Grandchildren: Logan D'Agostino, Garren D'Agostino, Summer Nadler, Robby Nadler and his dog of 9 years Bradie. He will be sadly missed. A memorial service will be held on Monday (March 23rd) at 11 am at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center street Manchester followed by burial in St. James Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday morning from 10-11 am.
