Peter F. Foley, 66, of Manchester, CT the husband of Nancy P. (Bowlby) Foley died on Monday March 16, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford. Born in Everett, MA he was the son of the late Gerald E. and Helen (Sprague) Foley. Peter had been employed for over forty years at UTC Power in South Windsor, CT. Besides his wife he is survived by his daughters, Shannon M. Foley and Ryan Porter of Hebron, and Megan L. Sheehan and her husband Ryan W. of East Hartford; his daughter-in-law Valerie (Zak) Foley of Webster, MA; his grandchildren Gerald E. IV, Padraic M. and Christian D. Foley, and Jorge Escobar and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Gerald E. Foley III and his brothers Gerald E. II and Paul A. Foley. Funeral service will be held on Saturday (March 21st) at 8:15 am from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester with a Mass of Christian Burial 9 am at St. James Church 896 Main St. Manchester. Burial will be held on Monday at 12:30 pm at Glenwood Cemetery in Everett, MA. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday evening from 5-8 pm.
