Dear Janit, What can we say? I've missed the banter of our emails these last months; Jim and I could have put the world right and a few other things in between, but I can now understand from his obituary why I struggled to keep up or understand a couple of topics now and again! From that chance meeting at Silverstone several years ago now, and from your visit here just a few years ago what a friend I gained. I shall miss him. Janet and I send our sincere condolences to you and all the family. God bless. Ted and Janet. UK.

One of the best porfessors I ever had. He made difficult subjects easier to understand. It seems there was more than just engineering in his life. A true Renaissance man.
